Random Pics

We haven't been taking very many pictures lately, but here are a few funny shots of Jake. The first picture is right after his nap with his crazy hair. The middle pictures are from today when Jake was eating his lunch and decided to eat with his eyes closed. We had lunch late today and I think he was really ready for nap time. What a funny little guy! The last picture Aaron took of Jake eating his taco shell at dinner tonight. We just thought it was too funny.

Jake

Jake has learned to say "cheese" when we take a picture. It is pretty funny. This picture was from a couple of weeks ago when we went down to Provo to visit my grandparents.

I can tell Jake is getting closer to turning 2, because just in the last few weeks he has learned to throw a fit and wants to do everything by himself. People tell me that he is hitting the terrible two's early. So maybe that means he will grow out of it soon. But I know that is wishful thinking, since he is not even really 2 yet!

Toy Story

I haven't taken really any pictures since Christmas, but here is a picture of Jake last Sunday. He had a little cold so Aaron stayed home from church with him. He let him watch his favorite movie "Toy Story". Jake doesn't look very excited, but we know that he loves Toy Story and anything with Buzz Lightyear. He is holding his new Buzz Lightyear toy he got for Christmas. Jake takes him everywhere.

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. My parents and Travis came up from Texas. We spent Christmas day at Malinda's in Rexburg. Jake wasn't really into upwrapping presents, he just wanted to play. He was also very interested in what he cousins were getting for Christmas. We sure had a fun Christmas!

Cuddle Time!

I just wish that he never out grows it. Jake is such a sweet boy. I just love his hugs and kisses!

Jake is ready for winter!

This year we bought Jake snowpants and snowboots so he could play in the snow. He loved being all buddled up and didn't want to take his snowclothes off once we were back in the house. He is such a cutie!

Jake loves the music in church

Yesterday in church, Jake did some funny things. Everytime the music would stop (after the prelude music, right before the prayer and right before the sacrament), Jake would start clapping and yelling "Yeeeeaaaa!" He does that at home at the end of a cartoon or the end of a song on the radio, but that was a first in church. We thought it was pretty cute.

Thanksgiving

It has been a while since I have posted anything on our blog. We have been really busy going out of town to Utah, then to Boise for Thanksgiving. And now we are all sick with colds, that seem to be hanging around for over a week. Other than the colds we are doing good. We had a great Thanksgiving with Aaron's family. We came home to lots of snow and it just keeps on snowing.

"Cheese"

I thought this was so cute. Jake has learned to say "cheese" when we take his picture. He is such a funny little guy. He loves to wear is sunglasses.

Cute Little Boy

The top picture is right before nap time, Jake wanted to cuddly and watch Rollie Pollie Ollie. I just thought the picture turned out really sweet. The second picture is of Jake playing peek-a-boo while he is wearing his daddy's hat. Jake just loves to run and play. He just has so much energy. He is talking more and more. It is fun to hear him copy things Aaron and I say. He sure keeps us entertained!
